The Treasury or the Office of the Accountant General, serves as the cornerstone of public financial management in the Turks and Caicos Islands

Mission & Strategic Purpose

  • Managing Revenue, Expenditure & Borrowing – oversees government revenue flows, spending, and borrowing practices, striving to balance budgets and minimize reliance on new debt.
  • Facilitating Donor Support Management – the Department plays a vital role in receiving, planning, and managing donor-provided resources, ensuring they are optimally targeted and used effectively.
