Invest Turks and Caicos (Invest TCI) is the official investment promotion agency of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Launched in December 2015, Invest TCI operates under the Islands’ Encouragement of Development Ordinance and the 2012 Investment Policy, offering a structured and supportive framework for domestic and foreign investors.

Purpose

Our mission is to attract, facilitate, and retain investment in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and to support the sustainable growth of local businesses. We aim to transform inspired ideas into successful projects by providing expert guidance, coordinating with Government agencies, and helping investors navigate legal, regulatory and market-entry processes.

Work

• Confidential advisory services: provides free and confidential information on the local business climate, economic opportunities, government incentives, and regulations.
  
  
• Facilitating the investment journey: acts as a liaison between investors and relevant Government departments, helping streamline approval and licensing processes.
  
  
• Guidance on incentives and concessions: team advises on applicable incentives, customs duty exemptions, reduced import duties, stamp duty concessions, and grants available to qualified investments.
  
  
• Referrals and introductions: introduces investors to vetted local service providers, suppliers, and stakeholders to help them establish and grow their operations.
  
  
• Immigration support: guide investors through immigration matters, including work permits and permanent residence certificates.
  
  
• Ongoing project support: After establishment, continues to provide follow-up assistance to help businesses adapt, grow, and reinvest in the islands.

Strategic Focus

• MSME Development: Invest TCI manages and supports a robust Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME)programme, designed to stimulate entrepreneurship, promote innovation, and enhance local participation in the economy.
  
  
• Policy leadership: The Agency plays a key role in shaping and promoting the Islands’ investment policy. In December 2023, Invest TCI launched a revised National Investment Policy that emphasizes sustainable practices, stakeholder collaboration, and empowering domestic ownership as a driver of economic growth.
  
  
• Promotion and outreach: Invest TCI actively participates in regional and international investment forums, hosting events and conducting marketing to raise awareness of the Turks and Caicos Islands as a safe, accessible and opportunity-rich place to do business.
